Robert BarclayCo-founder and a former graduate of Newcastle University. After working in finance in the city of London, he moved to Southern Spain, where he has undertaken various large-scale projects, including the management of the highly successful Finca La Morera www.fincalamorera.com, currently one of Spain's most upmarket destinations (The Daily Mail put in the Top Ten best places to rent in Spain). His understanding and calm level headed approach to dealing with Spanish tradesmen is a real asset. Heralding from the Barclays Bank family, he lives in central Sevilla with his girlfriend, who travels between Spain and London, where she is highly regarded in the fashion PR business. |

Jon ClarkeCo-founder and a former graduate from Manchester University. After a ten-year career in Fleet Street (Sunday Telegraph/Mail on Sunday/Daily Mirror) he moved to Spain where he works as a stringer for the Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph. He has published books and made documentaries on the country, such as one on corruption on the Costa del Sol for Tonight with Trevor McDonald. He is currently the Southern Spain correspondent for the popular hotel book Alastair Sawday's Special Places to Stay. He is heavily involved in the promotion of sustainable development in the region and lives with his wife, an artist, and daughter Maria in Ronda. He is currently editing a local newspaper in Andalucia called the Olive Press |

Linda Watson - ArchitectArchitect Linda Watson is one of the UK's leading authorities on conservation and sustainable building. A principal lecturer at Plymouth University she is the director of the Architecture Conservation course and is secretary of ICOMOS (UK) Earth Structures Committee. She lives in Devon but has been a regular visitor to the region since discovering Tarifa in the 1970s. She is currently organising a conference on sustainable building at the Eden Project in Cornwall. |

Jose Maria Guerrero - BuilderHaving lived and worked in France as a builder, Jose Maria returned to Spain a decade ago with a good understanding of working with old and complicated buildings. Setting up his own company, most of his conversions have respected the vernacular architecture of the region and he has a 25-strong team of local builders, many with over 30 years of experience working with earth and stone constructions. |

Paul & Emma Rolf - Interior DesignersMoving to Spain after running a successful interior design company in London, Paul and Emma have undertaken a number of enormous interior design projects in Andalucia from palatial homes in Marbella to original New York loft-style conversions in the mountain villages outside Ronda. Featured on Channel Five's A Dream Home Abroad, they have also been widely written about in the press, including the Mail on Sunday's property section. They live with their menagerie of dogs and cats in the pretty village of Benaojan. |

Gabriella Chidgey - ArtistGraduating from Cambridge with a degree in History of Art, Gabriella ran her own contemporary dance company before becoming a painter, based in Andalucia. Heralding from a creative London-based family she has an excellent eye for style and layout. Her colour schemes take from a range of stone and earth pigments and she has converted a number of houses in Spain. She is available for all sorts of commissions in relation to the decoration of the project. |

David Gonzales Rosado - Mortgage BrokerHaving studied business studies for five years at Malaga University, David Gonzalez set up as an independent mortgage broker in Ronda, where he grew up and where he currently lives with his girlfriend. A keen artisan, in his spare time he produces a variety of jewellery and accessories out of the local celebrated leather from the area. An honest and trustworthy guy, his goal is to take the mortgage process away from the scheming and infamously slippery Spanish banks. |
